Refund policy

Items can be exchanged within 3 days of purchase if returned in their original condition. We will offer a store credit not a cash refund.

Deposits for pre order items can be exchanged for a store credit not a cash refund.

If a pre order product varies more than 20% in colour / texture from our display image we will offer a refund. 

A customer can request a return on an item specifically ordered for them but it will be dependant on our suppliers return policy.

Store credits cannot be exchanged for cash. If store credits are not fully redeemed the remaining amount remains as credit in store.

Please allow 2 – 3 days for us to process your return and apply your store credit. The original shipping costs will not be credited. Items received after this time frame will be returned to you.

We do not provide a refund for a change of mind. If goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act. 

Sale items
We do not offer store credits or exchanges on sale items.

Faulty Goods
If you receive an item that is faulty please advise us within 7 days of receiving. We will send you a replacement or credit you if a replacement is not available.

SHIPPING

Risk of Loss
All items shipped from Brown & Home are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means once an item leaves our store via the courier / freight forwarder the risk of loss and damage for such items pass to you.

Signing for the goods.
Please ensure you sign for your purchase only if it is received in good order. If the packaging is damaged it is likely the goods inside will be damaged. Signing for a parcel without noting any damage confirms it has been received by the consumer in good condition.

International shipping
At this stage we do not offer shipping outside New Zealand

Store pick up
You can choose ‘store pick up’ at check out if you wish to pick up your purchase from out Brown & Home Store. We will contact you as soon as your purchase is ready for collection.
